ABOUT THE SHOW: One man. Two bosses. Countless disasters! When the perpetually hungry Francis Henshall finds himself secretly working for two employers at the same time, keeping their identities hidden quickly becomes a full-time job. As mix-ups multiply, romances unravel, and chaos spins wildly out of control, Francis scrambles to stay one step ahead without getting caught. Packed with outrageous physical comedy, quick-fire wit, and audience interaction, One Man, Two Guvnors is a laugh-until-you-cry farce that keeps the surprises coming from start to finish.

**Note: Student and Public Matinees may be added after casting.   

Rehearsals are from 2:00pm – 10:00pm Tuesday – Friday and various times at the weekends. We may rehearse up to 42 hours a week. Your schedule and hours will vary depending on the size of the role.   

Pay ranges from $400 per week for local, non-union actors; $400 plus $20/day per diem for out-of-town, non-union actors (out-of-town is defined as living outside of North Carolina). This production is an AEA Single Engagement Agreement Tier C production, and the weekly rate is $831.00 per week (inclusive of $25/week media bump), plus AEA per diem, and health and pension contributions. Housing for out-of-town artists is available. All adult actors will be paid through CFRT’s payroll system and shall receive a Form W-2 for all wages paid. 

For video submissions: All video auditions should be emailed to auditions@cfrt.org no later than 5pm EST on Wednesday, September 16 (due to an anticipated high volume of submissions, videos sent after this deadline will not be considered during the first round of casting.) Videos should either be submitted via YouTube or Dropbox link. Google Drive links will not be accepted due to viewing issues. Please make sure all links sent are viewable by anyone for easy sharing amongst the team. Include your headshot, resume, audition form, and conflict calendar in the email along with the show-specific material we are requesting. Please only read for ONE ROLE. Reels are not considered a submission. Virtual callbacks will be scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 from 4-8pm EST. If we need to schedule you for a callback appointment, you will receive an email by Sunday, September 27 at 10pm.

STANLEY STUBBERS — mid-20s, male-presenting. (Florindo Aretusi; 2nd Master) Entitled, privately educated, and posh. Rachel’s boyfriend. On the lam for murdering Rachel’s brother. Loud and bossy. Standard RP dialect.

RACHEL CRABBE — mid-20s, female-presenting. (Beatrice Rasponi; 1st Master) Disguised as her dead twin brother, Rachel pretends to be a tough crook but has a big heart underneath.
