ABOUT THE SHOW: In this hilarious classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem — and the fun— when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be divided into 4 different casts. Cast assignments are based on actors availability and the needs of the Director and Creative Team. Each cast will consist of approximately 30 actors.

Please be advised that students who are cast in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will need to miss 2-3 days of school to perform in Student Matinees.

Important Dates

  • Rehearsals Begin: October 28th
  • Opening: December 6th
  • Closing: December 21st

Each cast will rehearse 2 days a week, between 6-8 hours. Rehearsals will vary depending on role.
Each cast will perform for two to three days of Student Matinees (SMATs) with performances at 9:30am and 11:00am.
