Monty Python’s Spamalot is a new musical ”lovingly ripped-off” from the internationally famous comedy team’s most popular motion picture, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. This telling of the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail is the winner of three 2005 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Monty Python’s Spamalot received 14 Tony Award nominations, as well as the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical.

What is this play rated? If you are a fan of big old fashioned musical comedies, or if you are a Monty Python fan, this is the show for you. There are dancing girls and tap dancing knights. Spamalot does include coarse British humor, colorful language and outrageous French accents. Recommended for ages 11+.
