Disgraced

It was supposed to be the time of his life.

Amir, a South Asian lawyer, is on the brink of a huge promotion. His wife, Emily, is about to book her first major gallery showing. They were on the fast track to success until Amir agrees to defend an Islamic Imam pro-bono. His impeccable image starts to morph in the eyes of his colleagues, with all the implications any modern-day Muslim navigates. Meanwhile the secrets his wife has been keeping reveal themselves in a moment that upends their marriage completely.

Even if you distance yourself from your culture, will the outside world ever see past their pre-conceived notions of you?”

Who will love it? People who want edgy, engaging, and thought provoking theatre that asks questions but doesn’t prescribe the answers. This show is rated R due to its language and violence.

Disgraced is a limited run presented with limited seating in a new configuration to enhance the audience’s experience with this great story.
