The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Our annual production of this modern holiday classic will be presented for the 17th year.  This is the story of how the awful Herdman children learn the true meaning of Christmas and will delight children and adults alike.  There will be both daytime school performances and weekend public performances.

 

 

 

 

Porgy & Bess

March 6-9, 2008

 

Known worldwide as a masterpiece and an American Folk Opera, Porgy and Bess was George Gershwin's final work for the musical stage.  Based on DuBose and Dorothy Heyward's play "Porgy," musical numbers include Summertime, A Woman Is a Sometime Thing, My Man's Gone Now, I Got Plenty O'Nuttin', It Ain't Necessarily So, Buzzard Song and Bess, You Is My Woman Now.  Please join us for this extraordinary entertainment experience!

So put on your dancing shoes and boogie on down to the river for a guaranteed evening of fun!

Blues ‘n Brews Festival

This popular one day event features a sampling of over 100 beers and a great taste of the Blues by some of the region’s most popular bands. Its outdoor venue at Fayetteville's Festival Park makes for a great community gathering. Attendees bring lawn chairs or blankets. With fun activities for children, and food and beverages for all, this is one event the entire family can enjoy!
